Why Do I Have A Painful Intercourse With Brownish Discharge And Hip Pain?
I am 14 months post Esophageal Cancer with the IVOR LEWIS procedure done successfully. I didn t have to have chemo, or radiation. I am 53 years old, female, and since the surgery..I have lost 124 lbs. This is good as I was overweight. Now...for the past few months I have been having severe right hip pain that radiates into groin & lower back. I also hysterectomy (complete) 15 years ago. Sexual intercourse is painful and I do bleed some brownish blood after having intercourse. I dont know whether to go to GYN or a Urologist. I also have some pressure feelings in my lower abdomen. Any suggestions ?
The cause for your presentation seems to be the hysterectomy which may have resulted in a hormonal imbalance which causes increased bone resorption and reduced bone development that can make your bones weak and cause symptoms like pain, difficulty in moving, etc.
The bleeding during intercourse and pain could also be related to a hormonal.imbalance requiting estrogen for correction; but this will have to be comfirmed.
Please visit your doctor for a more elaborate evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
