Why Do I Have A Red Mark Above My Left Armpit?

I have a red mark above my left armpit, it looks like a burn and is very soft, but dose not hurt. I can remember it appearing after holiday, not sure how I got it, it is still as clear as I first saw it 5 weeks ago. I m starting to worry a bit, any advice?

red marks on the skin that have not changed in appearance for 5 weeks and are asymptomatic are likely benign. if you notice that the rash is changing, or you start getting symptoms you should see a dermatologist.
