Why Do I Have A Redness Around The Eyelids After A Lower Forehead Injury?

I have a red upper eyelid after a lower forehead injury that appeared after two days. It seems like it may have spread to the other eye and lower eye lid. I assume it is just a burst blood vessel and it is dispersing. I plan to go to the walk in clinic when they open in two hours. Do I have to go to the emergency room instead?
