Why Do I Have Bad Cold And Body Aches With Blood Coughing Up?
hi, ive had a fever for the past three days and ithas fluctuated from 99.3-102.4 im 14 years old. ive had an incredibly bad cough and occasionally coughing up blood. i have all over body aches and for some reason i feel like this isnt a common head cold.

Hi,
The symptoms you are referring are indicating for viral infection. I advise to:
- drink plenty of fluids (water, juices, tea)
- have more rest
- take acetaminophen/ibuprofen twice daily
- take vit.c supplementation
- take otc carbocystein cough tablet if you have productive cough
If no improvement within a few days, should see a physician for further evaluation and to exclude bacterial infection.
