Why Do I Have Blood Pressure Swings Even After Taking Medicines?
Hi = I am 78 yrs old, had a heart attack a year ago, on numerous medications to regulate my blood pressure-taken 4 times a day. However, even with a lower salt diet, no smoking, my pressure goes from 205/110 to 140/94 all day long most days. Sometimes it stays 150/90, but these large blood pressure swings scare me.

The swings in blood pressure may be due to inadequate dosages of the medicine you are taking.
So,i would suggest you to consult your doctor for proper dosage of medications
Along with the low salt diet ,you need to do regular exercises and also do relaxation techniques by doing yoga and meditation.
