Hi,

Any surgery of the Achilles tendon is unlikely to be responsible for body aches and that too for so long. In my opinion, the body aches are due to some other cause. Many disorders can be responsible, like anemia, other blood disorders, hormonal imbalance, connective tissue disease, chronic infections etc. Some psychiatric illnesses like depression, somatoform disorders etc may also cause body aches. In my opinion, you should consult a doctor and get some basic investigations done, for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Best wishes.
