Why Do I Have Pain And Numbness In Lip?

On antibiotics for 3 days and pain meds, but still having much pain and now numbness in lower lip. Saw dentist yesterday who prescribed more\different antibiotics and appointment to remove tooth, but not until December 26 - should I be concerned? Wanted to wait until January when new dental insurance kicks in - is that possible?

is the issue limited to lower lip only?or both lips?if not releiving with medications,just check your serum calcium level...hypocalcemia can cos perioral numbness,but usually affects both lips...meanwhile,take plenty of fruits ang vegs,which will defenitely help you.
