Why Do I Have Pain In Lower Abdomen Along With Fever And Cough?

I had a fever last night which has calmed down now. Now I have this throbbing pain in my lower left abdomen which gets worse when I cough or sneeze. It feels like something has burst in my tummy when I cough and the pain is unbearable when that happens

Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

You might be having a left ureteric stone with urinary tract infection, to cause those symptoms.

Get an ultrasound of your abdomen done along with a routine urine examination.

If its a uti with a stone, then you need to show to a urologist for further management depending upon the size and location of the stone and antibiotics to control the infection.
