Why Do I Have Pain In My Hips, Back And Around The Front Belly At 31 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 31 weeks pregnant. Since this afternoon I have had a constant dull ache in my back, have very painful hips and now think the pain is around the front. I don t know that if because Im laying down the ache feels like its at the front as well, cant work it out. The only way I can explain the feeling is like Ive been wearing trousers that are wayyyyy too tight and squeezing my belly (Ive been wearing leggings so know this isn t the case but only thing I could think up as an illustration). Im worried about what this dull feeling could be? Thanks.

Hi there,

The pain you are feeling at the back and spreading at the front, to my opinion, might be indicative for uterine contractions. I suggest to consult with your OG specialist for further evaluation.

At the moment, I advise to take paracetamol for the pain and run to the clinic.

All the best to both of you!
