Why Do I Have Pain In The Incision Area Post Lobectomy In 2006?

Hi, I had a lobectomy in 2006. It healed well and I have had no problems since. Today I awoke with pain in the incision area and the back of my right arm. The pain also runs along the side and under my right breast but is most severe directly at the incision area along my right scapula. Thank you.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, you had lobectomy, in in 2006,and now you are getting severe pain. So it may not be related to the surgery.
The pain could be rue to the cervical spondylosis, recurance, or a new disease, etc.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and tereatment, you may need to have an M.R.I. for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms nuerotropic injections for 10 consecutive days and then periodically. supplements of calcium, vitamin D, and pain killers when needed.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
