Why Do I Have Sensation Of Electric Shock In One Side Of My Body?

Hi, I've been diagnosed with Colitis about a month ago. The pain is no longer as bad as it was. However, I have now been feeling weird "electric shocks" in my left leg (back and inner thigh), in my left buttocks and often times in my left arm and wrist. What could that be? Pottasium? Low elctrolytes? Anxiety?
