Why Do I Still Have Painful Stomach Cramps After A Stomach Virus And Medication, Even Though The Diarrhea Has Stopped?

Hi doctor Ive started the stomach virus... Diaree since Friday night had high fever... .. Got Meds from pharmacy... Diaree stopped since Monday but persistent cramps which is painful... Went to see a doctor monday gave me prodium and tablets... I m still in pain with cramps... Please help
