How can I help with your medical question? You I have been having a weird problem with my hands when showering or swimming and don’t know what it is. My hands become very wrinkled and painful after only a few minutes in the water. Then I get white bumps (that look like blisters) all over my hands. Nothing seems to help and it takes up to an hour for my hands to return to normal. :(

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think this is a form of vasculitis. Raynaud phenomenon can be a possibility. You will need to be investigated accordingly. Treatment can be initiated only after diagnosis is confirmed. You can meet a rheumatologist in your area for a suitable examination and plan of investigations and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
