Why Do I Fail In The Urine Test When On Amoxicillin?

yes, please, I am 56 yrs old and had to take a urine test for a job. I failed it. It was a clinic that used strips. I am in a program for Suboxone 4mg, I been in the program for a yr now, I get urine tested once a month, I fail because they said I had weed in my system. I do NOT get high...I am also on Duloxetine 60mg, Xanax 0.25 mg, Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium 875mg, Sumatriptan 100mg, and Benadryl for sinus infection. I don t understand, I took a test on Monday given by my Dr and the Xanax showed and he quested me, I said you scripted me last month for them because we dropped the amount of Suboxone I was taking, but no weed showed. Then I started on the antibiotic and took the work urine test on Friday and failed...I DON T UNDERSTAND??? Any thoughts...I can not drink or do anything that would risk my program..please advise...I didn t know I had to pay...im unemployed and can not, sorry

Strip test are not that accurate there might be error in the test and it should be repeated providing the fact that you have been clear. Amoxicillin on the other hand can no way cause this drug test to fail.Thats for sure.Rest it needs a complete correlation to connect the dots for that failure.Seek your doctor and discuss some advanced options of drug testing which are more accurate.
