Why Do My Ears Feel Clogged, And My Breathing Become Harder After Eating Ice Cream?
My ears feel clogged as soon as I start eating ice cream. Sometimes I have a slightly harder time breathing after eating like my throat isnt fully open and I usually have a harder time breathing through my nose What could be causing this? I ve never had any allergies to anything including food or dairy growing up, but I m not sure if that s changed?
Some people develop IgG (non-IgE) food sensitivities in the course of time. Eustachian tube issues (common in allergy-prone or sinus-sensitive people), and cold foods may trigger temporary swelling or pressure changes, thus causing symptoms like clogged ears, etc. Get clinically examined by an ENT. Post-nasal drip, increased mucus production, or airway irritation can be due to dairy sensitivity. See an allergist if symptoms recur or worsen.
