Why Do My Ears Feel Still Clogged?

I went to my primary and was told I had an ear infection. I took antibiotics for ten days but I still feel like my ear has water in it or its clogged. When this first occurred before my dr appt. I had severe pain in my ear that woke me at night so I put a warm compress on my ear to ease the pain for 2 nights. I don t understand what is still going on, I feel I am in a tunnel and can hear myself breathe.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The feeling of like you are in a tunnel and that you can hear yourself breathing is classical symptom of fluid in the middle ear cavity and it takes almost 3 weeks for clearance of the fluid.
You have taken treatment for the 10 days you still have to continue treatment for 10 more days and if the infection is already under control, better to ask for oral steroids to get an early and permanent cure.
