Why Do My Feet Smell Sweet?

I have noticed that my feet smell really sweet (for years now), and I am wondering what is causing it. My sweat in other places (such as the armpits) do not have this scent. I am fairly sure that I do not have AIDs, as neither of my parents have AIDs nor have I had sex with someone else. I am fairly young (and my feet have been smelling like this for as long as I remember, which is when I was 10), and not particularly active. Only one family member (that I am related to by blood) has died from cancer, most likely because she was a heavy smoker. Is there any cause for this? (I researched into it slightly before asking.)

Hi,

It may be bromhidrosis due to sweat secretion which is sterile and odorless but become odoriferous when decomposed by bacteria into volatile acids on the skin surface.

I would recommend you to keep feet in dettol mixed water twice daily and to apply antibiotic cream on feet and soles.

Hopevthis helps.
