Hello,
Just relax, too much anxiety about fertility or testosterone can amplify the discomfort. Yes, studies have been done where Zoloft did lead to lower
testosterone level. Since you have taken a short course of Zoloft (5 tablets) it is likely that it will not cause permanent damage to testicles, sperm production, or testosterone levels.
Your pain and discomfort are more likely related to local irritation, muscle tension, or nerve sensitivity.
Pelvic floor muscles become tense during SSRI use and remain that way, causing intermittent pain. Stretching exercises will be helpful. Wearing a supportive underwear will help.
Since I find you to be very worried, you can get a
semen analysis and testosterone
blood test done for reassurance and peace of mind. However, if symptoms persist, you are advised to get clinically examined by a local
urologist to rule out other testicular pathology that may be causing you symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
