Why Do Red Spots Develop On Scalp?

I have a scratchy/sensitive scalp with some red spots. I also had a really bad headache on Saturday about a week after I noticed my scalp was sore. I have also noticed that behind my left year my gland seems swollen. I should also mention this all seems to be on my left side of my scalp and forehead. I am starting to notice it moving down my lefts side forehead.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be scalp prurigo with secondary bacterial infection. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to take a course of antibiotic and antiinflammatory drugs under doctor's supervision. If there is itching, take antihistaminics for long time.

Hope this helps.
