Why Doctor Prescribed Me Meprate Tablet?

i had right ovary removed 12 years back due to chocolate cyst now i am married before 4 years and trying to conceive i was diagnosed with pcos in the left ovary and i am on metformin my gynae put me on ovitrop injection after laproscopy for four months in the year 2010 after that my gynae tried for iui but she told that my cervical opening is very tight that she could not do iui and she has to do operation for making cervix to open. how my cervix could become tight after laproscopy, will it relax after the gap of six because i didnt do any treatment for six months, can i conceive naturally now i didnt get my periods for the last two months so i went to another gynae and he prescribed me meprate tablet i got my periods and it is continuing for more than 12 days what could be the reason for that Plz Help
