General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Bacitracin ophthalmic (for the eyes) is used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes.

So, the ointment can be used for the eyes. If you don't see any improvement, you should see your doctor for a physical examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
