hi i want to know what is wrong with the mirena coil as i am having stain and pains below it in 3 years ago as my lining of my womb came away and i had an infection in the womb got the hestimosty and coil fitted having stain and pressure down below the stain is light brown in colour what is happening
According to me, birth control pills are preferred drug of treatment, we doctors suggest some time surgery also if size is more then 3 CM or there are multiple big fibroids. Generally, if there is pain and excessive bleeding then we recommend birth control pills. Depending upon age and symptoms we advise treatment. We can do myomectomy where we only remove moms (fibroid) in place of hysterectomy. But generally, if age is menopausal we suggest hysterectomy, if there are multiple fibroids, or very large fibroid. We can do total hysterectomy where we remove uterus with cervix and also remove fallopian tubes and ovaries.
