Why Does Anxiety Cause Itchiness Behind The Head And Neck?

For a couple of months now whenever I get anxious the scalp on the back of my head and neck begin to itch- to the point where I cannot concentrate on anything but scratching (which makes it worse). Occasionally I will get a rash (also extremely itchy) on my leg, which my PC thought was neurodermatitis. Any thoughts? Karen O Connor
