For goodness sake! You seem to have come up with a surprisingly specific diagnosis after being given such little information. You must be a doctor!

I have had tight chest pain after drinking my own home brewed wine. A symptom of which I do not suffer from when drinking wine from the liquor store. I suspect it could be due to the presence of aldehydes in the wine itself, although of this I cannot be absolutley sure. I know for a fact that some unfortunate people posess a genetic defect which means that their body cannot break down aldehydes as effeciently as other people (about 40% of asian people posess this defect,) and that this makes drinking alcolhol very unpleasent. I am wondering if aldehydes could be the culprit of *my* symptoms.
