Why Does It Burn While Peeing?

Hi, I had sex about a week ago & everytime I wee it burns & I keep peeing frequently. Plus I was meant to be on my period 5days ago but still haven't been on why is this? I also had unprotected sex 2weeks ago with another man & I took 4 contraceptive pills to stop me from getting pregnant. Please help

Hi

I would suggest you to take a pregnancy test since you have mentioned history of sexual intercourse 2 weeks and also a week back.

Burning while urination can indicate urinary tract tract infection.You may have to take antibiotics such as norfloxacin for four to five days.Adequate hydration is also essential.

Disodium hydrogen citrate syrup should be mixed with water and taken thrice a day to reduce the burning sensation.
