Why Does Minoxidil Treatment Do Not Give Permanent Solution For Hair Loss?

If hair growth is going to occur with the use of minoxidil, it usually occurs after the medicine has been used for several months and lasts only as long as the medicine continues to be used. Hair loss will begin again within a few months after minoxidil treatment is stopped.........???
so the hair is real or fake hair ??

Hello and welcome to HCM,
It is true that minoxidil helps in hair growth.
However, the hair growth is only till the drug is used.
After discontinuing its use, hair fall starts again.
The hair growth during use of minoxidil is true and not fake.
The hair fall is very severe if the drug is stopped abruptly.
Thus, whenever, the drug is stopped, it should be stopped slowly and not abruptly.
You have to taper the drug over a period of time.
The drug should be taken under the supervision of a doctor and also stopped under the guidance.
