Why Does My Adam S Apple Feel Swollen?

I am a 46yr old male. I noticed my adams apple seems to sit to the right at the top while i am seated... Is this normal?? I have had some recent sensations of it feeling swollen. I ve mentioned it to my PC Dr... However, she did not think it was swollen & said the sensation was likely sinus drainage... However, it s been this way for a couple of months now... I appreciate any advice.
