Why Does My Feet Swell Such That The Big Toenails Pop And Bleed When I Travel ?
When I travel my feet swell so much that it pops my big toenails off and they bleed. I am a diabetic w/ neuropathy if this makes a difference can you tell me what is going on 5'2" 160 lbs...?
I do not eat salt and I elevate my legs. I can not wear the tight hose as the pain of swelling becomes excruitiating.

Swelling in your feet could be due to uncontrolled blood pressure or congestive heart failure or some kidney ailment etc.
