Why Does My Inner Arm Swell While Sleeping?

I noticed a couple weeks ago that my right inner arm where it bends but not on the joint there is slight swelling felels bruised and when I extend my arm I feel pulling.... I thought it was the way I sleep caused it because sometimes I lay my head on my arm but I stopped and it still feels the same.
