Why Does My Skin Gets Itchy Whenever The Weather Change?

My skin gets really itchy with weather change, at random times of the day, and even when i m trying to sleep and has caused long lasting dark marks when i scratch. my dermatologist says its mosquito bits but i ve had mosquito bites and there was little itching, what i experience lasts for more than 30 minutes, when i scratch the area bruises and causes a black scar, every time, my legs are full of them. i really want it to stop but i don t know what s causing it. Or what to do about my scars

If your skin continuously itches you might be suffering from a condition called atopic dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis also predisposes to insect bite hypersensitivity. You might need to apply moisturiser regularly to prevent your skin from becoming sensitive. Also you may use a mild topical steroid cream over the excessively itchy areas.Regular usage of mosquito nets is also advised.
