Why Does My Son Have An Inflamed Area On His Penis Along With Boils?

hello, yesterday i noticed inflammated area about half a square cm on my son s penis right on junction between glans and skin. he is 5 yrs and dad been circumcised when he was 1 month old. there were two heads on the boils , i started keflex syrup, 1 gr daily. tonight i noted the inflammatin get smaller and one head disappeared. i first thought it might be a remained disolved suture, however i couldn t find anything after i removed the head which was very bad smelling . whats ur idea. i am an anesthetist.

Swelling on the penis can have several causes. Many penis swelling are harmless and need no treatment.
Most common swelling over the shaft of the penis are
Pearly penile papules are one of the most common reasons for the swelling on the penis in this age, but it will subside by itself.
As this area is highly contaminated with the microorganism that may be adding smell to the papule.
