Why Does My Son S High Fever Return Every 4 Hours Despite Giving Meftal-P?

My son who is 12 years age is suffering from very high fever approx 6 degree. Fever is from the morning. Going fever after giving meftal p 5 ml taking time of approx 1 hour. Fever is coming in 4 hours or less than four hour gaps....why...we are very worried
