Why Does One Feel Sick After Having An Unprotected Sex?

I had unprotected sex with my partner about 9 days ago, and i have been feeling sicky all day. So we decided i did a test. I took the test and looked straight and it and only one line came up, so i didnt think anything of it. i went back to my room about 45 mins later and just looked at it again, and there was another veryyy faint line. i told my partner and my mother and they both said either they couldnt see anything or that i was just worrying myself, it was nothing. but i could see it, and i keep looking at it, and its still there. i read the leaflet in the packet and it says not to read the test after 10 mins, but if its a positive then its a positive, right? and i also read that if theres 2 lines then your pregnant, one line can be faint, they dont have to match. i had a look online at some faint positive tests and some of them looked pretty much the same. im all confused now and dont want to get my hopes up too much! someone please help mee!!

In the current scenario, you can repeat the home pregnancy test 3-7 days after your expected period if you miss it or go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres if you are at least one week post ovulation.

Please remember that conception occurs with an unprotected sexual intercourse around ovulation, which falls two weeks prior to the onset of the next period. You have done the test too early and your symptoms are not specific to pregnancy.
