Why Does One Get A Feeling Of Collapse While Walking?

Every now and then I feel lightheaded and really weak always around 5-6 pm. It usally goes away if I eat something but sometimes I have to just lie down and wait till I feel better. If I try to stand or walk I feel as if im going to collapse but never have.
