Why Does One Have Light Periods?

I have had an abortion over a month ago, and then did a PT that came negative. I was suppose to get my period yesterday e 11th as per the doctor said . I started very light period on the 8th of feb ( only when i wipe after the toilet ) and its still this way untill this minute. What could be posibaly be happening to me ?
