Why Does Severe Coughing Result In Swelling Sensation In Rectum?

Hello I wondered if you could help me understand why every time I cough, I seem to feel a swelling sensation in the area of the rectum. Also when I am sitting down there also is hard to describe swell feeling inwards and outwards. There is some stinging discomfort too after realising my stools. Similarly when the urine passes after released stool I get a very uncomfortable stinging within the penis area as well.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, in my opinion you should consult general surgeon to rule out early rectal prolapse.
Coughing causes rise in intra abdominal pressure.
This rise in pressure cause pressure on abdominal organs like intestine, rectum etc.
Rectum is supported by muscular layers. So if these layers are weakened due any cause, rectum loose it's support. So on pressure it can get prolapsed and gives you sensation of uncomfortable feeling.
So rule out rectal prolapse in your case.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
