Why Does Smoking Does Not Affect The Health Of Some Persons?
it's about smoking...my dad has been a smoker for as long as i can remember... i've read in magazines about how smoking can kill you in many ways... but according to my dad and my view of him, he's perfectly healthy... he's healthier than his brother who's a non-smoker.... i'm just wondering.. why is it like that... it's been years now that i've tried to stop him from smoking but he's proven that smoking has no effect on him... how? why?
No. You just can't see it as easily. The majority of smokers will not have lung cancer or necessarily asthma/copd or heart attack BUT the risk of all of these is directly proportional to number of cigarettes and, would be best stated as "didn't have these problems yet". Also, lung damage is directly proportional to cigarettes and it is essentially guaranteed that his lungs age at least twice as fast as a non-smoker (measured by SPIROMETRY... seeing how much wind) but if you tap on his chest and he sound like an empty oil drum... bad sign showing loss of lung.
