Hello,

Stools may change color with constipation as they lose more fluids and get harder. The description you give is normal. If your stools are greasy they would be loose and floating, so it is unlikely your stools have increased amount of fat.

To help with constipation I would advise you to have a diet rich in fiber (prunes, fruit, and vegetables) and also take Movicol 1-2 sachets daily.

I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. Let me know if I may assist you further.

Regards,
