Why Does Testicle Move Around In It's Sack?

My left testi moves around in it's sack. This makes my penis extend an shrink. And not in the hard excited way. It stays soft and the testi is sensitive an doesn't take much for it to get hurt. I had a family doctor tell me it was a vericose vein?? I'm not sure how to spell that. Can you offer any insight??

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. Testis is hanging by a stalk called a ''cord'' in the scrotum , and the left one is usually at a lower level that the right in almost all males. Due to hanging by the cord testes are mobile , and they should be for the proper functioning. If there is worm like appearance / feeling on touch and has some vague pain which increases on standing and subsides on lying down - then only this may be '' varicose veins''. This is confirmed by a color doppler study of the area by sonography. You may also go for semen analysis if required. Pain in the testis can shrink the penis , otherwise there is no relation.
