Why Does The Pain Feel Worse After Switching From Hydrocodone To Morphine?
Wife recently taking two 5/325 mg hydrocodone every 6 hours for pain. Pain began to breakthrough so her doctor moved her to Morphine Sulfate ER 15 mg tablets - 1 tab every 12 hours and moved her hydrocodone to PRN every 6 hrs for pain. Wife is worse now that before. We understand acetaminophen relief is now gone but isn t the morphine more effective than the hydrocodone?
