Why Doesn T Injury On Foot Heal?

Why does the injury on my foot refuses to heal, though my skin will heal but that spot will still be strong, whenever I use something to scrape it, it will go back to its normal state. It has been on my leg for up 8 years, please help me out...........

Non healing injuries on foot are common in diabetics. Please get checked about your diabetic status. Apart from diabetes- venous ulcers, those due to other causes of peripheral neuropathy can also cause this. Please get evaluated for these.

It might be keloid. U consult some dermatologist. There are treatment options like intralesional steroid, excision , few other modalities also.
