Why Had A Sudden Episode Of Excessive Sweating, Stomach Quivering And Tremor In Finger?
My husband had a sudden 'episode' where he felt very strange, sweating like crazy, very hungry, laid down, was confused, his stomach was quivering and his finger had a tremor. About half hour before he had diarrhea. Couldn't really explain his symptoms. Of course wouldn't go to urgent care:-(. I thought the symptoms sounded like hypoglycemia plus perhaps a bit of problem with electrolytes from the diarrhea. So gave him honey, peanut butter, some bouillon and dried fruit. He said he still felt weird but better. He had taken a Benadryl so is now sleeping. Suggestion?
I would advise you to take him to the hospital to get it checked anyway. Is he a diabetic?
In the meantime, do rehydrate him with ORS( oral rehydration salts). You can also give him Toast, rice gruel with a pinch of salt. Tender coconut water is also very good as it has water, sugar and electrolytes. Probiotics like lactobacillus may also be helpful.
Wishing your husband a speedy recovery.
Regards, Dr. Divya Kuttikrishan.

Why Had A Sudden Episode Of Excessive Sweating, Stomach Quivering And Tremor In Finger?
Hi there... Thanks for writing in. You might be right. His symptoms do seem like he might be having an episode of hypoglycemia with electrolyte imbalance.
