Why Has The Periods That Started Late Not Stopped For Days Even After Taking Primolut ?

Hi, I have irregular period. Actually last month I didn’t get normal period but only 3-4 days brownish and very light “bleeding”, then, this last time, my period came on the regular date but didn’t stop ever since (it’s been 32 days already). I got checked up with my doctor, got my ultrasound done and he says I have ovarian cyst (Follicular cyst). The bleeding didn’t stop even after using Methylergomtrine drops for 10 days and now the doctor prescribed me TB Primolut-Nor for 20 days (not sure whether I should take 1 or 2 tablets per day for 20 days..?). What can I expect now? The bleeding will finally stop? And if so, what is the necessary number of days of using the tablets? While I take the tablets, is it possible to occur a rupture of the cyst and what would be the symptoms? Thank you very much!
