Why Have I Been Having An Intermittent Sharp Random Lightning Bolt Like Pain In The Upper Left Side Of My Torso?

Hi I have been having a sharp random lightning bolt kinda pain in the upper left side of my torso and it comes and goes mainly when I’m eating or laughing too hard , it comes very unexpectedly and this has never happened to me before because now I’m afraid to eat or laugh. The pain sometimes gets close to my heart as well. I was wondering what is going on?
