Hello dear
Understand your concern
Do not take festone kit without the advice of gynecologist. First you have to find the cause of missed period.
Most common cause is pregnancy as you are sexually active. But first you have to confirm the pregnancy by home urine pregnancy test or and the USG scan (to confirm intrauterine pregnancy)/blood HCG.
Without confirming pregnancy you do not take abortion pill.
You can terminate the pregnancy up to 9 week of gestational age.
One pill (mifepristone) do not induce the blood as it cause separation of yolk sac from the uterus.
Now I advice you to consult the gynecologist and get the USG done and if intra uterine pregnancy will be there, then you should follow the gynecologist advice. After 48 of taking mifepristone, 400 ug misoprostol should be put in the vagina by gynecologist, if needed another 400 ug should be given after 4 hour to induce abortion. Bleeding will be induced in 4 hour and maximum by 24 hour.
Do not use pill as self medication as it cause excessive bleeding and abnormal development of pregnancy that should be terminated by surgical process.
Post abortion USG should be done to confirm compete termination of pregnancy.
In absence of pregnancy, other cause of missed period like hormonal imbalance, stress, change in dietary habit, thyroid disorder, PCOS should be rule out by history and proper investigation.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
