Why Haven’t My Periods Returned After Stopping Injectaplan In And Starting Duphaston Daily?

Hello director thanks for helping us dear. I stopped injectaplan in February this year. I wanted to conceive. I m 41years now. By the time I was using injectaplan I had no menses. When I stopped, I saw my menses in April and may. 3days each month. I didn t see menses in July up to now. I was advised to take duphaston tablets 10 MG daily for 20 days. I have taken 9tablets sofar but I ve nt yet seen my periods. Pliz doctor advise me dear.

Hi,

Usually, it may take 10-12 months for fertility to return after stoppage of Injectaplan. However, some of the women may get fertility sooner than this period. Hence, you may wait for this duration and if still the fertility does not return, you are advised to see your doctor for proper evaluation and treatment accordingly.

Also, normally periods are expected 2-5 days after the last tablet of Duphaston. If still, the periods are absent, you may see your doctor for the same.
