Why Having Breast Pain, Breathing Problem And Pain While Sleeping After Falling?

Hi i have 31 years old and 55 kg 1.60m. And I fell over on my back really hard on the floor on Saturday,and since then I have a big pain on my right breast I can't breath properly and can't barely move,don't sleep with pain. What happened? Many thanks

Hello,
Your symptoms are suggestive of a possible injury to the rib cage. I would suggest an x-ray of the chest to rule out any bony or soft tissue injury and see a physician for further management. If there is any injury to the rib cage, you would need strapping, rest, analgesics and anti-inflammatory medication. Evaluation of the pulmonary function also may be necessary. Proper management will usually relieve the symptoms in a couple of weeks. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
