Why Having Brown Jelly Like Discharge After Gallbladder Removal And Tied Tubes?

I had a C-section on Jan. 29th, 2014 and had my tubes tied (she was 5 weeks early but completely healthy). Then on March 19th I started my period for the 1st time since the baby and also found out I had Gallstones. On March 28th I had my gallbladder removed. I started spotting like I was going to have my period again. and now over the days the color has changed and there is a Brown Jelly like discharge. Could this just be from all the surgeries and new baby in such a short time?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

The brownish discharge that you are having can be a light period due to the effect of breastfeeding. The discharge is not related to the surgery. No need to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rakhi Tayal, OBGYN
