Why Having Funny Taste In Mouth And Runny Nose With Bloody Mucus?
My son has complained of a funny taste in his mouth for a few days. He has been blowing his nose constantly for about a week, said his nose won t stop running but then sounds like a bull-horn when he blows his nose. Has quite a bit of drainage and bloody mucous. Need to be concerned?

Hi,
It seems that he might be having acute rhinitis producing nasal drainage and congestion.
Due to soreness in nasal cavity he might get bloody mucous.
Due to entering nasal discharge in throat might give funny taste in mouth.
Give him decongestant medicine for 2-3 days.
Put decongestant nasal drops like otrivin in nose.
Ask him to go for vicks vapor inhalation.
Ok and take care.
