Why I Have To Do Fasting Before Blood Test?
im going having one next week and have been told to eat or drink nothing for the 12 hours before,what would happen if i was to eat or drink something on the morning of the test before i hd the test,in what way would it be a problem.the blood test is to check for type 2 diabeatees

yes the blood glucose levels will shout up if you eat and drink in the morning before the test and will give wrong results. the medication is depentent on the fasting levels of the glucose. so it will give rise to overtreatment of the diabetes and will cause complication like coma and other other problems.
